Warranty Policy

At Comdtay, we stand behind the products we sell. This warranty policy explains what is covered, how long coverage lasts, how to request support, and what to expect if a product issue occurs.

This policy is written for customers in the United States and is intended to be clear and straightforward.


1. Warranty coverage

Comdtay provides a 12-month limited warranty on all smart pet feeders and automatic pet water fountains purchased directly from www.comdtay.com.

Warranty period: 12 months from the date of delivery.

What is covered: Manufacturing defects and functional failures that occur under normal household use. This includes cases where the product stops working as described through no fault of the customer.

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable. Products purchased through third-party sellers are not covered by this warranty.

No registration is required to activate your warranty. Keep your order confirmation email as proof of purchase — you will need your order number when contacting us.


2. What is not covered

The warranty does not apply to issues caused by:

  • Normal wear and tear from regular use
  • Accidental damage, drops, or misuse
  • Improper installation or use not in accordance with the provided instructions
  • Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or disassembly
  • Damage caused by liquids entering the unit (beyond normal water contact in water fountains)
  • Damage from power surges, pests, or external factors beyond normal household conditions

Consumable and replaceable parts: Filters, sponges, replacement bowls, and similar consumable components are not covered by the warranty. These parts are designed to be replaced regularly as part of normal maintenance. Replacement parts are available separately in our store.


3. How to request warranty support

If you believe your product has a covered issue, contact us at support@comdtay.com with the following:

  • Your order number
  • The product name or model
  • A description of the issue
  • Photos or a short video showing the problem, if you are able to capture it

We aim to respond within 1 to 2 business days, Monday through Friday. Our team will review your request and let you know whether the issue is covered and what the next steps are.

You do not need to ship anything back until we confirm the issue and provide instructions.


4. How we resolve warranty claims

When a warranty claim is approved, we will offer one of the following resolutions depending on the nature of the issue:

  • Troubleshooting guidance to resolve the issue without a return
  • A replacement part shipped to you at no charge
  • A replacement unit of the same or a comparable model at no charge

We will discuss the resolution with you before taking action. If a replacement unit is provided, it may be a new or a manufacturer-inspected unit in full working condition. Replacement items are covered for the remainder of your original warranty period.

We do not offer cash refunds under the warranty. If your product is within the 30-day return window, a refund may be available under our Return Policy instead — contact us and we will advise which option applies to your situation.


5. Warranty shipping

If the issue is a confirmed manufacturing defect or product failure covered under this warranty: Comdtay covers the cost of sending a replacement part or replacement unit to you.

If we need you to return the product or a component for inspection before we can confirm the issue: We will provide return shipping instructions and cover reasonable return shipping costs for confirmed warranty claims.

Shipping costs for issues that are found to be outside warranty coverage remain the customer's responsibility.

We will always confirm shipping arrangements with you before asking you to send anything back.


6. Limitation of warranty

This limited warranty is the only warranty provided by Comdtay and replaces any other express warranties. To the extent permitted by law, implied warranties are limited to the duration of this warranty period.

Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so certain provisions above may not apply to you depending on your state.


7. Your legal rights

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have additional rights that vary by state within the United States. Nothing in this policy is intended to limit rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.


8. Changes to this policy

We may update this warranty policy from time to time to reflect changes in our products or applicable legal requirements. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

If you made a purchase before an update, the warranty terms that applied at the time of purchase continue to apply to that order.
