We started comdtay because of a feeling most pet owners know.

You're stuck in a meeting that ran late. Your cat hasn't eaten since morning. You have no idea if your neighbor remembered to stop by. And there's nothing you can do about it right now.

That kind of low-grade worry adds up. It follows you through your day, and it doesn't have to.

comdtay is a US-based retailer selling automatic pet feeders and water fountains — products built to keep your cat or dog fed and hydrated on a consistent schedule, whether you're home or not. We're operated by BLUEVECTOR SOFTWARE LLC, based in Kalispell, Montana.

We don't manufacture products. We're a specialty retailer: we find, evaluate, and carry smart feeding and hydration products that we'd feel comfortable recommending to someone we know.


What we sell, and why we keep it simple

We carry one category: automatic feeders and water fountains for cats and dogs.

That's intentional. We're not trying to be a general pet store. We focus on smart feeding and hydration because those are the two things pet owners worry about most when they're away from home — and because the difference between a well-made product and a poorly made one shows up fast in your pet's daily routine.

Our current lineup includes:

All products in our store work with standard dry kibble and are compatible with iOS and Android. We stock 2.4GHz WiFi models with battery backup — so feeding stays on schedule even during a power outage.

How we choose what to carry

We work with manufacturing partners who produce WiFi-enabled pet care products and operate under recognized quality management standards. Before we list anything, we check:

  • Safety certifications for each product (CE, RoHS, FCC, and UKCA where applicable)
  • Whether product specifications match what's actually described and sold
  • Whether water-contact parts are BPA-free
  • Whether cleaning and part replacement are genuinely straightforward
  • Whether the product holds up in real use, not just in product photography

We also pay attention to what pet owners are saying on forums, in reviews, and in communities like Reddit. The most common complaints about automatic feeders — WiFi setup issues, food jams, poor app reliability, parts that are impossible to clean — are things we actively screen for before adding a product to our store. If a product gets consistent complaints about something that matters, we stop carrying it.
