Shipping & Delivery

How long does shipping take?
Once your order is confirmed, we typically process it within 1 to 3 business days. Transit within the contiguous US takes 7 to 9 business days. Total estimated delivery time is 8 to 12 business days from the date your order is placed.

You will receive a tracking number by email once your order ships. For full details, see our Shipping Policy.

Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. Standard shipping is free on all orders within the contiguous United States. No minimum order amount is required. The shipping cost shown at checkout is always $0 — no hidden fees are added after payment.

Where do you ship?
We ship within the contiguous United States (48 states). We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, or international destinations.

If your address falls into one of these categories, your order may be canceled and we will contact you by email.

How do I track my order?
You will receive a tracking number by email once your order ships. Use it to check delivery status directly on the carrier's website.

If you have not received a tracking email within 3 business days of ordering, check your spam folder first, then contact us at christellabirdsell@gmail.com with your order number.

Can I cancel my order?
Orders may be canceled before 2:00 PM MST on the same day they are placed. Include your order number when you contact us at christellabirdsell@gmail.com.

Once an order has been processed or shipped, it cannot be canceled — but you can request a return after delivery under our 30-day return policy.


Returns & Warranty

What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 30 days of the delivery date for items purchased from www.comdtay.com. Items must be in original condition and include all original accessories.

Email christellabirdsell@gmail.com with your order number to start the process. Do not ship anything back without confirmation from us first. See our Return Policy for full details.

How long do refunds take?
Once we receive and inspect your return, we process the refund within 1 to 3 business days. Your bank or payment provider may take an additional 3 to 10 business days to post the refund. Total time from return receipt to funds in your account is typically 4 to 13 business days.

If you have not seen your refund after 10 business days from when we confirmed receipt, contact us at christellabirdsell@gmail.com.

Can I cancel my order?
Orders may be canceled before 2:00 PM MST on the same day they are placed. Once an order has been processed or shipped, it cannot be canceled — but you can request a return after delivery within our 30-day return window.

Who pays for return shipping?
We cover return shipping when the return is due to our error — a shipping mistake, wrong item sent, or a verified product defect. We will provide a prepaid return label.

The customer is responsible for return shipping costs when the return is for personal reasons, such as changing your mind or ordering the wrong model. Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is caused by our error.

What is your warranty?
All products purchased from www.comdtay.com include a 12-month limited warranty from the delivery date, covering manufacturing defects and functional failures under normal household use. No registration is required — keep your order confirmation email as proof of purchase.

WiFi & App

Will the feeder work with my WiFi network?
All comdtay feeders require a 2.4GHz WiFi network. They are not compatible with 5GHz-only networks.

Many home routers broadcast both 2.4GHz and 5GHz under the same network name. If you have trouble connecting during setup, check your router settings and separate the two bands, then connect the feeder to the 2.4GHz band specifically. Check the specifications on your product page to confirm requirements for your specific model.

Is the app easy to set up?
Most customers complete initial setup within a few minutes. Download the free comdtay app, follow the in-app instructions to connect the feeder to your WiFi, then set your feeding schedule and portions.

Android and iOS devices are both supported. If you run into trouble, contact us at christellabirdsell@gmail.com and we will help you through it step by step.

Does it work with Alexa or Google Assistant?
Voice assistant integration is not available at this time. Feeding schedules and manual feeding are managed through the comdtay app on your smartphone.

Can I set multiple feeding times per day?
Yes. Depending on the model, you can schedule between 1 and 6 meals per day, each at a specific time with its own portion size. Check the product page for the exact number of meals your chosen model supports.


Feeding & Portion Control

What feeder size is right for my pet?
A standard adult cat eating approximately 1/2 cup of dry food per day will go through roughly 3.5 cups per week. A 4L feeder holds about 16 cups — enough for 4 to 5 weeks for one cat. A 6L feeder holds about 24 cups — enough for 6 to 7 weeks.

For small dogs, plan for roughly twice the daily amount. Check individual product pages for hopper capacity in cups and liters.

How accurate are the portion sizes?
Each portion dispenses approximately 5 to 10 grams depending on kibble size and density. The exact amount will vary slightly depending on the size, shape, and density of your pet's food.

We recommend starting with the amount your vet or the food packaging suggests, then adjusting based on what you observe over the first week. Use a kitchen scale to verify portions when you first set up the feeder.

Can multiple pets share one feeder?
comdtay feeders are designed for dry kibble only. They work best in single-pet households or in households where pets eat the same food at the same time. If you have pets with different dietary needs or where one tends to steal the other's food, a single shared feeder may not be the right fit. Consider separate feeders in different locations instead.

What kibble size fits?
Standard dry kibble up to 12mm (approximately 1/2 inch) in diameter works reliably. Larger kibble or irregular shapes may cause dispensing issues or jams. We recommend checking your pet's kibble size before purchasing. Wet food is not compatible with any comdtay feeder.
